On this sunny winter morning the town of Bridgton is hopping with activity. You see the Western Maine Rabbit Breeders Association is hosting a rabbit show at the old town hall. It seems this quite the event and people are coming from all over New England to participate.
Unseasonably warm weather is bringing people out in droves to enjoy some much needed rest and relaxation. All morning I've heard snowmobiles buzzing along the trail behind the house. This is Maine's premiere winter activity with no shortage of snow in a state that is famous for its long cold winters. More snow in the forecast for Sunday night into Monday which is a holiday for many people.

I am fortunate enough to live on Highland Lake in Bridgton, Maine. Bridgton is a small town of approx. 4,500 year round residents, nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains. The village boasts a brand new cinema with pub, Reny's department store, numerous gift shops, sports shops and a library. There are lots of restaurants to choose from and you can enjoy casual or find dining year-round.
